Celebrating 4th July in Barcelona
04.07.2023
A bit like St. Patrick’s Day and Australia Day, there are certain international events that get celebrated in style here in Barcelona, thanks to the city’s large number of foreign students, expats, tourists and assorted other visitors.
American Independence Day is one of them, so if you’re keen to celebrate the day that Will Smith saved planet earth from aliens (we are pretty sure that’s the festival’s origin!), then check out the following parties for a flag-waving good time.
1. The 4th July at the George Payne
A reliable host of epic Independence Day parties, the George Payne throws open its doors to all true patriots and allies and invites them to booze and boogie til the early hours. In 2023 expect the following:
- Free Entry before 10pm
- Free Jagerbomb if you show your USA ID card
- Pitchers 12€ + Fun Play Beer Pong until 10pm
- Diablo [Hot] Wing Challenge (10 wings, 5 mins, free if you finish them) until 10pm
- 15€ 1L Big Blue Cocktails all night
- Red, white & Blue Flag Shots 5 for 10€ all night

2. Independence Day Party at Craft Barcelona
Another fantastic shindig is going down on the 4th at Craft Barcelona, an atmospheric three-floor bar in El Gotico. With two live bands rocking out and a great selection of artisan cervezas behind the bar, good times are all but guaranteed.
