FC Barcelona Museum
A treasure vault of trophies and sporting legend
For football fanatics all over the world, there’s one place you must go to worship when in Barcelona: that is of course the Camp Nou stadium.
The FC Barcelona Museum, on the grounds of the stadium, serves as the archives and treasure vault of all that has passed here, and is the most visited museum in all of the Catalan capital. An incredible 1.5 million people have come here to see the huge collection of trophies that Barça has racked up over the years – they’ve currently 5 Champions League titles to their name, in addition to countless domestic honours, all of which can be seen in their impressive trophy room.
The museum also has an audiovisual area and multimedia installations with hundreds of photos and videos from FC Barcelona’s celebrated history, plus an entire zone dedicated to arguably the best player to have ever laced up a pair of soccer boots: Lionel Messi.
When you sign up for the Camp Nou Experience, as well as access to the museum, you also get to visit the field, the press room, the players’ dressing room, the tunnel and the commentary boxes on a self-guided tour.
If you’re a fan of the blaugranas, this is a must-see stop.
