Balneari Prats Spa Resort

This historic hotel was constructed in 1890 by the Prats family in the spa town of Caldes de Malavella as a fashionable health resort, taking advantage of the town’s thermal springs.

Today its swimming pool is still filled by these naturally warm waters that keep the hotel’s outdoor pool at 34 degrees celsius and are rich in healing properties and minerals. As well as the chance to relax and recuperate in the pool, Balneari Prats also has a wing dedicated to health and beauty treatments, such as hydrotherapy, chiromassage, mud therapy and body and facial treatments.

Highly recommended is their Gerunda Fuga massage, which is a holistic therapeutic experience that draws on the region’s folklore and local products. Standard rooms come equipped with safe box, fridge, air-conditioning, flat screen TV, direct dial telephone and Wi-Fi connection.
