The 8 Best Barcelona Boat Parties
Following the HUGE success of these events in recent years, there are 4 regular parties taking place in 2025… (and 4 more one-off events for special occasions). Of the 4 regular parties, the first three are all run by the same fierce young travel company who know how to have a good time! The fourth option has a more laid back vibe, but is perfect for soaking up the Barcelona summer vibes and having a swim.
1. The Original Boat Party (€55)
A wicked and wild evening booze cruise – early evenings on Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun
2. Charcuterie, Cava & Swim Party Boat (€69)
A sun-baked day party with DJ – Saturday afternoons
3. Sunday Brunch Party (€64)
Brunch with mimosas on the sea– Sunday midday
4. Catamaran BBQ Party (€50)
A laidback daytime BBQ boat with swim stop – Fri, Sat & Sundays

1. The Original Boat Party (€55)
Go wild with 137 other people on this double-decker party catamaran, as the DJ spins the best in house, dance, r’n’b and hip-shaking tunes. The bar is generously stocked, and there are infinite soft drinks, and plenty of beers and sangria, included in the ticket price. This is the most hedonistic of all the events on this page, with a young and fun crowd, and my personal recommendation for a wild romp on the Mediterranean!

Duration: 2 hours
When? Departs every Thursday (7:30m), Friday (7:30pm), Saturday (5pm and 7:30pm) and Sunday (7:30pm) from May to Sept, with some Saturday parties taking place in April and October. The booking calendar has the full, updated schedule.
Best for: An amazing Ibiza-style party vibe

2. Charcuterie, Cava & Swim Party (€69)
It may sound civilised, but don’t worry this is still a wild rave at sea. This cruise combines the food and swim stop of the Catamaran BBQ Boat (see below), with the party attitude of the Original Boat Party (see above), making it the event that has everything – and an ideal option if you’re keen to sink cervezas or sip cava whilst the sun shines. Take a splash in the Mediterranean, enjoy a delicious buffet of Spanish snacks and then refresh with cold drinks as live DJs spin the tunes.

When? Departs every Saturday at 1:30pm in summer (May to early Sept)

3. Sunday Brunch At Sea (€64)
When was the last time you enjoyed breakfast with a sea breeze? Well now’s your chance to tuck into bacon and eggs, croissants and pastries while sipping on mimosas (or Cava or cerveza if you prefer!). If you like to party while the sun is shining this is the ideal event for you, and well worth setting your alarm for. Run by the same awesome crew that run parties no. 1 and 2!

Includes: Live DJ, breakfast bites (croissants, egg and bacon roll), unlimited soft drinks, 4 alcoholic drinks tickets (*plus FREE nightclub entry when you use promo code: bcnlife).
Duration: 2.5 hours
When? Every Sunday at 11am (June to early Sept)
Best for: I would recommend this event to anyone who prefers partying in the sunshine to the clubs!

4. Catamaran BBQ Boat (€50)
If jumping off the boat into the warm Mediterranean sea is your top priority, then select this 3-hour catamaran cruise, which sets sail several times a day during summer weekends. After about an hour, this beautiful vessel, which holds 60-90 people, will throw anchor and you can splash around in the water with floats, toys and snorkels to your heart’s content. Then its time to fire up the BBQ for a feast of sausage, burgers and plenty of veggie options and enjoy a refreshing beer or two, or sangria if you prefer. (Note: you can only drink max. 2 beers/sangrias and only after the swim stop… I would suggest looking at the other parties if you prefer a more boozy event!)

Includes: BBQ, swim stop, 2 beers or sangrias per person, unlimited soft drinks.
Duration: 3 hours
When? Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (at 11am, 2:30pm and 6pm) during summer. During spring and autumn, departures might be less often.
Best for: Chilled out vibe with cool people, sun, sausages, cervezas and swim stop.

5. San Juan Fireworks Display (23rd June)
Sant Juan is the biggest party night of the year in Spain… bigger even than New Year’s Eve! The whole world and their gran will head to the beach to watch the fireworks and drink themselves silly. However, rather than hang out with drunk teenagers dangerously trying to operate firecrackers and rockets, the best ticket is this boat party where you get a fantastic view of the official fireworks display from the safety of the sea!

6. PRIDE Boat Party
PRIDE month will be celebrated from 28th June to 20th July in 2025, throughout the city, and is a great time to visit and join in the many events and celebrations. Of course the hot ticket will be this year’s boat party. More details to follow!

American independence day will be celebrated with two boat parties this year, one at 5pm, and one at 7:30pm.

8. Halloween Boat Party (31st October)
Halloween has blown up in Barcelona in recent years and is celebrated with gusto by both locals and the city’s many expats and foreign students, including from the US. This spooky booze cruise has been running for a number of years now, and is always a fantastic event!

A blast of a night! Made even better by the spectacular sunset…sailing along the Barcelona coast…open bar…and a great dj. We ended up at some club down near the casino (name? memory is hazy at that stage of the evening!). Thanks to the crew for one of the best night on my travels!7 years ago
