Barcelona Guide Bureau
Daily tours with local experts
Barcelona Guide Bureau was established in 1990 by a team of local experts who wanted to create the best tour experience possible for visitors. And that’s still their goal today, as their recent Tripadvisor Hall of Fame award certifies!
They offer a range of daily sightseeing tours designed to show visitors the best the Catalan capital has to offer, with knowledgeable English-speaking guides, air-conditioned coaches and no queuing to get inside the major attractions such as La Sagrada Familia (a major plus if you consider that sometimes these queues can last for hours!).
Newcomers might want to start with their “All Barcelona Highlights Tour”, which covers everything from the Old Port to the Olympic Ring, and includes tickets to both La Sagrada Familia and Poble Espanyol in the price of €85, so is fantastic value.
Meanwhile their daily dedicated Gaudi Tour, includes tickets to both Sagrada Familia and the fairytale Casa Batllo mansion.
Other city tours include their Picasso & Born district tour, their Cathedral & Gothic Quarter Tour, and their Montjuic Tour.
Aside from exploring the city itself, Barcelona Guide Bureau also offer regular excursions to many of the neighbouring region’s must-see destinations, such as Montserrat, the site of a sacred abbey and the Black Madonna, and Figueres, home to the mind-blowing Dali Museum. You can also choose to combine your trip to Montserrat with a visit to the Codorniu Wine Cellars (available from April to October only), and your Figueres trip with a visit to Girona, a jewel of a town on the river Onyar.
Take a look at the complete list of tours they offer here.

My husband and I were in Barcelona for a few days during the midst of a taxi strike. We opted to join a Gauid tour and our guide, Anna-Lluisa, could not have been better. She was friendly, knowledgable, and patient. The radio earpieces allowed everyone to get all the information she had to share without interfering folks not on our tour. The Casa Batllo gave us a taste of the genius of Gaudi and our guide gave context to what we were experiencing. Words cannot do justice to the Sagrada Familia but she gave us enough information to understand what we were seeing and then allowed us enough time to just soak it in. It was really an exceptional experience and I thoroughly recommend it. Bravo, Anna-Lluisa.6 years ago

We recently visited Barcelona and were advised to take the tours offered by your company. We took the Gaudi tour and visited Montserrat. Both were worth every penny spent. The guides were informative, intelligent and very pleasant. The buses were clean and comfortable and we wish to make special mention of Arturo who conducted the Montserrat tour. He was excellent. We so enjoyed the day. Thank you for offering tourists a great way to see your energetic and vibrant city.7 years ago
