CentOnze
Chic Catalan restaurant on Las Ramblas
Website Ana Miquel
CentOnze welcomes its guests right off the world famous Las Ramblas boulevard and into its chic, light and modern interior for a dining experience that is both refined and affordable. The emphasis of the kitchen is to create modern Catalan and Mediterranean dishes with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients bought from the La Boqueria market. In fact the name CentOnze, meaning 111, is derived from the fact that the restaurant is one hundred and eleven steps away from the world famous food bazaar. There are many delicious offerings on their new menu, starting with the à la carte that includes both tapas and plates, such as homemade chicken croquettes and patatas bravas, and mains like fish’n’chips with homemade lime mayonnaise, barbecued pulled pork served with coleslaw or lamb fillet served with potato millefeuille and peach chutney.
For the indecisive, there’s a well-priced menu that features prawn pad thai with dashi broth, paccheri with a meat ragú sauce, and ends with a large selection of homemade sweets, such as zen chocolate and hazelnut mousse with caramel mango ice cream, and assorted mini desserts.
Plus, during the week, you can take advantage of their three course menu del dia (lunchtime menu) that is fantastic value at just €16,50.
With vegetarian, halal and gluten-free options they can accommodate everybody. After lunch or dinner you may want to linger for a sparkling libation at the adjoining Le Pop Cocktail Bar.

Beautiful venue. We don't normally eat at hotel restaurants but we were staying nearby and read the good reviews online. The food and service were really five star and if you consider the tasting menu was less than 40 euros and had four courses then its excellent value for money7 years ago
