Chef Paul Treacy is no doubt the man responsible for this and the tasting menus he’s put together for Con Gracia will have you searching for superlatives (just where did I put them?) to describe their Mediterranean cuisine, with an Asian twist. Foie-gras and miso soup with white truffle oil, and Nebraskan rib-eye steak with foie-gras saute and Thai peanut sauce, are two regulars on the read-out, whilst those addicted to the unexpected can opt for the ‘Experiences’ menu – featuring 9 surprise dishes chosen by the chef.

My dinner this evening at Con Gràcia was incredible. Owner Jose and his lovely counter part explained every part of the tasting menu with such clarity and joy. The same was provided with the wine pairing. It was a culinary lesson for my tastebuds as well as an informative evening about Catalon cuisine and fabulous Spanish wines. For a once in a lifetime experience, I highly recommend Con Gràcia.2 years ago
