Freeda Language Space
Intimate school with two locations
Freeda Language Space is a school with more than 10 years of teaching experience. It has two locations, both in beautiful neighbourhoods in the centre of Barcelona.
The first is in El Born (Carrer de Flassaders 7, ground floor) just 3 minutes from Jaume I station on line 4 (yellow line). El Born is one of the most touristic districts of Barcelona, full of museums, churches, bars and picturesque plazas, while the barrio also boasts the leafy Parc de la Ciutadella.
Freeda’s second location is situated in Gracia (Carrer de Alegre de Dalt 57, ground floor), 5 minutes from Joanic station on line 4 (yellow line). It is one of Barcelona’s most emblematic neighbourhoods, full of local boutiques and cafes. Once a separate town to Barcelona, Gracia’s independent vibe still runs through the heart of the neighbourhood today.
Great locations are not the school’s only advantage, Freeda Language Space also sets itself apart from many other language schools with its dedicated attention to students. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of just 10 students, which makes the educational process very effective. The student advisors and academy managers offer personalised attention and take care to form a genuine bond with all their students.
The majority of Freeda’s courses offer classes every day of the week, from Monday to Friday, whether you do a super-intensive (4 hours/day), combination (3 hours/day), intensive (2 hours/day) or an extensive grammar or conversation (1 hour/day) course. If you have ever learnt a language then you know how important it is to immerse yourself in it on a daily basis! If, however, you have only limited availability, or prefer to go slower with the material, the school also offer courses with classes just 2 or 3 days a week.
Prospective students will be pleased to know that Freeda is certified by the Instituto Cervantes and by FEDELE. All the teachers are native speakers with a lot of experience in ELE and with a high linguistic and teaching qualification.
In addition to classroom learning, Freeda organises a wide range of activities, from simple meals, meetings and parties to cultural excursions and day trips.
Do you already speak Spanish? Then you can sign up for Catalan classes instead! They also teach English.
The atmosphere at both schools is very friendly. Students, teachers and administrative staff have a good relationship with each other, which makes studying a language a lot more fun! Head down to one of their schools and they will help you to choose the perfect course for you.
