Mediterranean flavours with a Belgian twist

From the same team that brought Barcelona the mouthwateringly innovative Belgious ice cream parlour and creperie, comes this Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of the Gothic district.

Here at Gilda traditional Catalan, Spanish and French cuisine is given a Belgian twist so that, for example, your beef tenderloin with Bearnaise sauce comes with a side order of Belgian-style fries, and amongst the plates of Iberian ham and Catalan pan amb tomaquet tapas you’ll find Flemish beefstew made with Leffe beer. (Hint: you can also order Leffe and Stella Artois behind the bar!).

Best of all though is Gilda’s use of its sister venue’s signature ice creams in the menu. Try the crispy grilled salmon with wasabi ice cream to see what we mean!

An intimate interior, with low tables, candlelight and rich red and black tones make this the perfect place for impressing a special senor(ita).
