H10 Casanova
4 star hotel on the Gran Via
Giacomo Casanova, the famous Italian playboy, did in fact come to Barcelona, where he ended up in the Citadel prison (now Parc de la Ciutadella) after getting fruity with the wrong man’s wife. However H10 Casanova has nothing to do with him, but is named after Rafael Casanova a former Barcelona major and Catalan patriot who played a leading role in the defense of Barcelona during the 1713-14 siege.
Right here on the Gran Via avenue you’ll find yourself perfectly positioned to explore the city that Rafael risked his life to defend… you’re a stone’s throw away from La Rambla, Raval, Passeig de Gracia and the so-called ‘Gayxample’ district.
Whilst inside the H10-operated hotel, you’ll find plenty of stylish design touches from the green-lit lobby to the swish feather-pillowed bedrooms. There’s also free standard Internet connection (or paid-for WiFi) and a Despacio Spa Centre on the premises.
