Montserrat Tour

There are many amazing things to see and do in Barcelona, but very few regret taking the time out to make a day trip to Catalonia’s most famous mountain: Montserrat.

This jagged multi-peaked massif is worth visiting for its peculiar natural beauty alone – the twisting rock formations are a wonder to behold – however it’s also one of the most sacred sites in Spain thanks to the resplendent Santa Maria Abbey, which holds the holy Black Virgin statue, known as La Moreneta.

During this guided Montserrat Tour you’ll be driven in comfortable private transport from your hotel to the holy monastery, where you’ll see the sacred relic, Basilica church and (hopefully!) hear L’Escolania choir sing. Afterwards you’ll be able to ascend via cable car to the very peak of the mountain for spectacular views over Catalonia, before being driven safely back to Barcelona.
