Electric bike tours with a sea breeze!
Launched in spring 2023, Ocean Bikes Barcelona offer two entirely fresh bike tour itineraries that maximise the potential of their brand new fleet of sleek Italian electric bicycles. The first is the Photo Highlights Tour and the second is their Off The Beaten Track Tour. Their bike hub is on the Port Olimpic and both experiences can be combined with a sailing trip!
Photo Highlights Tour
The Barcelona Photo Highlights Tour is the perfect introduction for first time visitors to the city, as it takes in three must-see Gaudi buildings (La Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila and Casa Batllo), and the many treasures and viewing points of Montjuic mountain – a leafy hill that is a joy to cycle around. You also cruise along the bike paths of the legendary Barceloneta beach and the eye-catching W-Hotel.
Off The Beaten Track Tour
This easy-riding afternoon cruise is great if you want to avoid cars and tourists and explore the city’s hip districts, parks, beaches on two wheels. Modern attractions like the iconic Torre Agbar skyscraper and Parc del Forum, with its huge solar panel, offer a fascinating insight into contemporary Barcelona, while the district of Poblenou retains a neighbourhood vibe, with its village squares and local markets. The tour includes several of Barcelona’s most attractive beaches, and will suit curious travellers keep to see something a bit different to Gaudi and Las Ramblas.
Sailing Trip
As well as a fleet of brand new Italian electric bicycles, Ocean Bikes Barcelona also own a fleet of fast-paced J80 sailing yachts, perfect for cruising over the Mediterranean. A professional skipper will greet you and instruct on some of the basics, before you enjoy a 2 hour sailing tour with fantastic views back over the Mediterranean.
