Opium Barcelona
Barcelona's no.1 beach club
The first pick for the city’s resident poseurs and playboys, Opium Barcelona occupies a prime piece of real estate right in the swanky Port Olimpic strip, attracting a never-ending swarm of party-goers throughout the year, especially in high season.
By day stick-thin girls in glamorous summer dresses and macho guys in expensive shades lounge on cream sofas, admiring one another and the laid back Balearic-style beats, or else enjoy sea views at the venue’s restaurant. Later at night Opium becomes arguably the hottest club in town, with world famous DJs jetting in to man the decks, with the likes of David Guetta, Tiesto and the Black Eyed Peas playing at their famous Wednesday summer parties.
Unlike many of the other Port Olimpic venues, Opium has a license to serve alcohol until 6am, meaning that whilst many other revellers have to go to bed at 3am (that’s early for Spain!), those that made it through the doors here can dance and party until dawn.
Perennially popular and proud of its reputation, expect to pay around 20 euros for entry, more for special events. Follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google+ to keep up to date.
Dress Code
To be sure of getting the nod from the men in black, it’s best to dress to impress. Whilst there are no hard and fast rules, shabby sneakers, jeans and t-shirt are likely to see you refused entry. Smart shoes, shirt and respectable jeans or slacks should be fine for boys, whilst most girls will be showing off their cocktail dress and stilettos.
Guestlist
There are various agencies you can sign up with (just check the conditions of when you have to arrive etc.). For VIP guest list to Opium we recommend join this nightlife tour of Barcelona. Another option is these VIP Cards, valid in not only here but in 13 other top venues around town.

Ignore the haters who can't get in this is a superglam spot with great looking people packed every night during summer and always great vibe. Bouncers are tough like with every club in Spain but if you are respectful and don't act drunk you won't have any problems.6 years ago

first they said myself, partner and another friend can’t come in as we was wearing lei, we said ok but then looked at me saying oh u can’t come in with that haircut it’s not classy enough blah blah ??, there was nothing wrong with my look, others who went it looked worse..asked show me policy but nope .. so we ended up going to another place ... Basically I was not white enough or posh enough to enter, they did same to a black guy.. The management should be ashamed of their security who got agressive with me and wanted to start a fight ..
