Pacha
The legendary superclub lands in BCN
Did you know that the very first Pacha nightclub opened in Sitges, on the Costa Dorada, way back in 1967? Some would say it’s fitting then that – having conquered the globe, from Moscow to Rio de Janeiro – one of the world’s most famous entertainment brands has finally settled in Barcelona, just a few miles from where it all began.
Occupying a premium spot on the famous Port Olimpic strip, the superclub hosts parties seven days a week, and you can expect a pretty big crowd most nights during the summer. The venue’s organically moulded, predominantly white interior and pounding sound system creates a great space for revelry, whilst a terrace and third room, create two more zones for a change of scene. But be warned, the party rocks until 6am so you may have to pace yourself!
Music
Pacha of course specialises in electronic music, with booty-shaking house the order of the day in the main room, whilst the Red Room plays Pachangueo, a traditional Spanish party music much loved by locals. On the terrace, overlooking the beach, the DJs spin hip-hop and r’n’b.

NOT SAFE FOR FEMALES WORST EXPERIENCE If you are a woman this place is not for you. Worst experience I have had in Barcelona! I was and went to the smoking area, found an empty sofa (no sign on the area nothing! And everyone is smoking) so my friend and I sat on it then a security guy came came and told us “get up you can’t sit here” I asked him why? He said “get up no why” and then he said “get the fuck up” 2 times “this is VIP” so we got up and told him you could have told us this is VIP we don’t know and why are you talking like that so his response was you will get kicked out and he started to push me hard towards the door and touch me !! I got out and was screaming I want the manger so 3 other security guards came, only one of them speaks in English. I told I need to talk to someone now or I will call the police this guy is assaulting me. He translated that to his boss and his boss said if you want to call the police tell them and then the 3 of them left!! Don’t go to this place. Worst club, not safe, guards are harassers and “mangers” are careless. NOT SAFE FOR FEMALES WORST EXPERIENCE2 years ago
