Where To Watch Euro 2024

Skip ahead to our list of venues showing the Euro 2024 matches

It seems like only yesterday that Italy won Euro 2020…. and indeed it was only 3 years ago, as the tournament was played in the summer of 2021 on account of the pandemic. England fans will be glad for the relatively short delay, after their heartbreaking loss in the final on penalties, and the chance to compete again in 2024 with a team that looks at least as formidable as it did in 2021, especially up front – Kane, Foden and Bellingham have been scoring goals for fun for their club teams.

Standing in their way will be none other than the World Champions, France, and their team packed full of stars. None shine brighter than their captain and talisman, Kylian Mbappe, probably the best player on the planet right now.

Meanwhile only a fool would bet against Germany on their home turf, a team that blends plenty of experience (such as Neuer, Kroos, Muller, Gundogan and Kimmich) with young talent like Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz.

While the bookmakers don’t rate them as highly as the aforementioned teams, Spain and the Netherlands usually go deep in any tournament they enter, and can’t be ruled out as potential champions. Or could this be a last hurrah for the seemingly ageless Cristiano Ronaldo? The Portugal squad have been tipped as a dark horse by some pundits.

Of course, title defenders Italy themselves will have their own say in proceedings, and the likes of Chiesa have found form again after they bizarrely failed to qualify for the World Cup in 2022.

One great aspect of the Euros is their capacity to throw up surprises and who knows if we might see an unlikely champion, as we did in 1992 and 2004, when Denmark and Greece respectively were crowned kings of Europe.

If you can’t make it to Germany, then fear not, all the action will be screened at Barcelona’s best sports bars. And if you’re not from around these parts then here is our guide to some of the places where you can watch Euro 2024 in Barcelona:
